Sweat with you Sweetheart Tri
Sweat with your Sweetheart Mini-Triathlon will be on February 11th! This event is held entirely indoors to break free of the winter blues. Participants will swim in the pool, bike on the spin bikes and run on the track. Individuals over the age of 16 can participate in this exciting and fun event with awesome prizes! It's a great non-sanctioned fun event for everyone whether you have a Valentine or not.

Egg Dive is held the Saturday of Easter weekend for children ages 5-12 years of age. There are two sessions to choose from: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Children dive for eggs in our pools and redeem them for prizes or money! Sign up early because spots go fast.

Summer Blitz The Clearfield Aquatic Center teams up with North Davis Fire District for a Summer Safety Show with clowns Gus Gus and Smoke Stack and lots of fun booths and activities to promote different safety topics. 

National Senior Health and Fitness Day  is in May each year. This is a day to celebrate seniors and fitness.Hosted by the Clearfield Aquatic center and the Health Department to educate seniors on fitness and health. Classes, activities and facility is free for seniors to try that day.

World's Largest Swim Lesson- June

Join the CAFC in raising awareness about water safety and child drowning prevention each year in June at the World's Largest Swim Lesson. We help break a World Record each year!

The nation's top water safety and training organizations are joining forces to present The World's Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL), Friday, June 24, 2016, to build awareness about the vital importance of teaching children to swim to help prevent drowning. On June 24th, waterparks, pools and other aquatic facilities around the globe will host local WLSL lessons to make noise that Swimming Lessons Save Lives. Classes will start at 12 p.m. check in is at 11:45 a.m. Swimming is a life-saving skill for children and a vital tool to prevent drowning, the second leading cause of unintended, injury-related death for children ages 1-14. The World's Largest Swimming Lesson was created to serve as a platform to help local community aquatic facilities and the many different national, regional and state wide water safety and drowning prevention organizations work together to tell this important story on a local and national level.


National Trails Day is held the first Saturday in June from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Bring the entire family (leashed dogs allowed) and discover the Denver and Rio Grande Western rail trail. In support of National Trails Day, event organizers from each city will have special activities along the route (games and prizes). Clearfield City's Community Services will have an activity station set up along the Clearfield section of the trail by Steed Park, just off the trail near the tennis courts (park address 300 North 1000 West)

Kids'Splash, Ride & Dash Join us August 6th race starts at 8:00 a.m. This event is for young athletes ages 6-14. Registration is open now at www.reconline.org or by calling 801-525-2641. 

Kids have the option of signing up for the triathlon only ($25R / $30NR) or for the race and four clinics that will be held throughout the summer to help them train for the triathlon ($40R / $45NR). Training for a triathlon is a great way to spend your summer and even earn your BSA Personal Fitness Merit Badge. Tentative Clinic dates are: Swim- June 23, Bike- July 7, Run- July 21, and Nutrition & Spaghetti Dinner August 4. We offer Novice and Competitive divisions.

Boo-nanza- Come have a spooky timat the CAFC on the fourth Saturday in October. The facility closes to the public at 11:00 a.m. to transform into a family friendly Halloween adventure and reopens from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There are games and activities for all ages, but no swimming during this event.

Fall Fitness Frenzy It begins with Thanksgiving…who can resist the pumpkin pie, the stuffing, the mashed potatoes and gravy? Then our workouts dwindle because we’re too busy with holiday activities. STOP! It doesn’t have to be that way. Let the staff at the Clearfield Aquatic & Fitness Center help you stay motivated to exercise and eat healthfully during the holidays. Join us for the Fall Fitness Frenzy November 1 – December 3, 2016. Anyone can participate! Each time you work out at the Aquatic Center, front desk staff will initial your Fall Fitness Frenzy card(s). The more cards you complete the better chance you have to win prizes. A prize drawing will take place the first week of December for free personal training sessions, gift cards and more. You don’t have to be present to win.

Swim with Santa will be December 10, 2016 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m., for ages 6 months to 12 years. Bringyour elves to Swim with Santa for hours of fun! Activities for the little elves include crafts, games, swimming and a visit from Santa! Spots are limited. Wear comfortable clothing over a swimming suit. Anyone under 7 must be accompanied by an adult in the water by an adult. Event is $5 a child.

Health Fair  will be the second Friday in January This event will be held in the lobby of the CAFC and feature vendors who will help you focus on your health in the new year. Highlights will include massages, blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol checks along with skin care and healthy food samples. Vendors and events vary year to year but this event is a must attend for your new years goals.
