The Clearfield City Planning Commission will generally meet on the first Wednesday of each month, excluding holidays, at 7:00 p.m. at Clearfield City Hall, 55 South State Street, Council Chambers, Clearfield, UT 84015.
The Clearfield City Planning Commission's role is to make recommendations to the Clearfield City Council concerning Master Plan, land use ordinance, and zoning map adoption and amendments. The Clearfield City Planning Commission has been designated as the “Land Use Authority” as defined in Utah State Code 10-9a-301. The Planning Commission makes decisions on applications filed under Clearfield City Code, Title 10 and Title 11.
The Planning Commission is a body where, depending on the agenda item, the Planning Commission may receive comment and recommendations from applicants, the public, applicable agencies and City staff regarding land use applications and other items on the Commission's agenda. In addition, the Planning Commission takes action on these items, which may inclue: approval, approval with conditions, denial, continuance or recommendation to other bodies as applicable.
